My Story
Abhijith Nair is a Cloud Architect with combined research and industry experience in designing cloud infrastructure with primary focus towards data & analytics insights.
Currently, he is working for Amazon Web Services Canada as a Technical Trainer within the Training & Certifications team. Prior to this role, he was working for NielsenIQ and Adastra Corporation as an Infrastructure Engineer & Cloud Consultant. His passion for cloud migration, resource deployments using Infrastructure as Code and administration helps large enterprises to modernize their cloud environments by following technology best practices with regards to cloud adoption framework. Abhijith’s clientele experience spans across fields such as IT, Mining, Finance and Insurance in Canada.

He has won the University Gold Medal for his exemplary academic performance during his bachelor’s degree from Amrita University in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto with major in data analytics. While pursuing his master's degree, Abhijith's research thesis was to create a Hybrid Energy Harvester for Green Iglu, a non-profit organization that helps to tackle food insecurity in remote communities within Canada and strengthen food sovereignty.

Prior to working as a consultant, Abhijith was working as the Director of Technical Operations (Energy Chapter) of IEEE University of Toronto Student Branch, where he had to manage, host and review technical chapter events pertinent to IEEE across campus.

This blog was started with an intention to share my personal experience working on implementing solutions on cloud. I find websites like Stack Overflow, GitHub and blog posts etc., useful and convenient to answer my programming queries. The idea or agenda behind this website is to give back to the community and keep information free and accessible.
